Written by

in

Background AirSnitch is a suite of newly documented Wi-Fi security techniques presented at the NDSS 2026 conference that allow an attacker to bypass client isolation—a security feature designed to prevent devices on the same network from communicating with each other.

Details can be found in this NDSS article:

Affected Products Peplink routers with built-in Wi-Fi AP, and AP series.

Solution It has been fixed in Peplink Balance and MAX firmware version 8.6.0 GA. For AP series, the fix will be included in firmware 3.9.8 (in beta phase).
