Why bonding matters most in a disaster

Failover assumes something survives to fail over to — and picks one path to trust. After a storm, every path is suspect: towers on generator, cables under trees, satellite in the rain. How fast can a kit be live after landfall?

If it’s pre-staged: minutes after power (battery or generator) — the kit is pre-configured and phones home on its own. If ordered after the storm: we ship configured kits same/next day and they self-provision on arrival.

What if all the cell towers are down?

Starlink carries the site alone if it must; cellular rejoins the bond automatically as carriers recover. The connection strengthens as the infrastructure heals — with no reconfiguration.

Do we pay for data all year?

No. Storm-season pools and per-event passes activate when a storm threatens and suspend after. You own the hardware; the data follows the weather.

Is this proven, or theory?

It’s the same architecture that keeps vessels connected mid-ocean and live sports on air — environments where “the infrastructure failed” is a normal Tuesday. A disaster zone is what it was designed for.
