What Kit for My Site?

A quick sizing guide — from a single-register store to a multi-camera production or a superyacht — mapping site size to the right Peplink hardware and WAN mix.

The right kit is about how many independent paths you need and how much you bond. A rough guide:

By scale

  • Small site / single register, kiosk, IoT — a single-cellular BR1-class unit; add a broadband WAN for a second path.
  • Branch / retail store (registers + cameras + guest) — a dual-5G BR2 Pro or B One 5G; bond two carriers plus broadband, VLAN the traffic.
  • Enterprise branch / clinic / small production — a 310-class or MBX with 4+ WANs (multi-carrier + Starlink).
  • High-capacity site / REMO / large event — a 580X or EPX core with MAX antennas and 6–8 WANs, paired with a bonding hub.
  • Maritime / cruise — an EPX / 2500 EC-class core bonding 8–20 Starlinks with OneWeb and coastal 5G.

Then match the data plans to the WAN mix. Not sure? The Find a Router tool filters by deployment, users, throughput and interfaces, or an engineer will size it with you.

Tip

The hub matters as much as the edge: bonding needs an endpoint (a FusionHub or a hub router). For a fleet, standardize on one hub tier so every site bonds home the same way.
