Here is the cleanest test of whether a network is truly enterprise-grade, and it has nothing to do with feature count or price.
On consumer equipment, when something stops working, you reboot it. On real enterprise equipment, you do not — because it does not stop working, and when a component fails, the failure is invisible to the user.
We have been trained our whole lives to accept the opposite. The internet is down: reboot the router. The computer is acting strange: restart it. Rebooting feels like action. In reality it is an admission. It clears the symptom and leaves the cause in place, waiting to return at a worse time.
A real enterprise network refuses that bargain. If there is a problem on the network, you fix the network. You do not reboot it. Enterprise equipment should not need to be rebooted, and a network that depends on rebooting was never enterprise-grade in the first place — no matter what was printed on the spec sheet.
The New Enterprise achieves this not by buying a more expensive single connection, but by refusing to depend on any single connection at all. Multiple diverse paths stay active. Traffic is distributed at the packet level. When one path degrades or drops, the session continues on the others without interruption. The user never sees the failure. That is the difference between “we have failover” and “we do not go down.”

This is the foundational test of the New Enterprise: a failed component is diagnosed and healed, not power-cycled and forgotten. Rebooting is not a plan.
